Description
This gene encodes one of four mammalian counterparts to the fruit fly ′dunce′ gene. The encoded protein has 3′,5′-cyclic-AMP phosphodiesterase activity and degrades cAMP, which acts as a signal transduction molecule in multiple cell types.
