BD BV480 Rat Anti-Mouse CD44
CD44 is widely expressed on hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells. BD Horizon™ BV480 Rat Anti-Mouse CD44 isoforms encoded by variable exons are expressed on epithelial cells, but only at low levels on most leukocytes. Mice with the Ly-24.1 alloantigen (e.g., BALB/c, CBA/J, DBA/1, DBA/2) have relatively large subsets of CD44H+ T lymphocytes.
BD BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD45RO
CD45RO is expressed on most thymocytes, activated T cells, memory T cells, granulocytes and monocytes, but only on a proportion of resting T cells. BD Horizon™ BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD45RO and CD45RA antibodies seem to define complementary, predominantly non-overlapping, populations in resting peripheral T cells, demonstrating heterogeneity within the CD8 and CD4 subpopulations. CD45RO binds to CD22.

CD138 is strongly expressed on multiple-myeloma-derived cell lines and malignant plasma cell populations. BD Horizon™ BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD138 binds to many extracellular matrix proteins through its heparan sulfate side-chains, like fibronectin, collagen types I, III, and V, tenascin, thrombospondin, and antithrombin III.
BD BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD45
CD45 is encoded by the PTPRC (Protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C) gene. BD Horizon™ BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD45 is present on all human leukocytes including lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, eosinophils, and thymocytes. CD45 is absent from circulating erythrocytes, platelets, or mature erythroid cells of bone marrow and non-hemopoietic tissues.

BD BV480 Rat Anti-Mouse CD19
Expressed throughout B-lymphocyte development from the pro-B cell through the mature B-cell stages. BD Horizon™ BV480 Rat Anti-Mouse CD19 participates in B-lymphocyte development, B-cell activation, maturation of memory B cells and regulation of tolerance. CD19 has also been detected on peritoneal mast cells, co-localized with CD21/CD35, and it is proposed to play a role in complement-mediated mast-cell activation.
BD BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD45RA
CD45RA is expressed on approximately 40-50% of peripheral CD4+ T cells, 50% of peripheral CD8+ T cells and on a portion of B cells and monocytes. BD Horizon™ BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD45RA antigen is expressed by naive and activated T cells. CD45RA-specific antibodies are useful for the study of the suppressor/inducer subpopulation of CD4+ lymphocytes.

CD38 is expressed by other cells including monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, myeloid and erythroid precursors and some epithelial cells. BD Horizon™ BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD38 antigen acts as an ectoenzyme that catalyzes the synthesis and hydrolysis of a Ca++ mobilizing agent, cyclic ADP-ribose.
BD BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD56
CD56 antigen is expressed on approximately 10% to 25% of peripheral blood lymphocytes. BD Horizon™ BV480 Mouse Anti-Human CD56 is present on essentially all resting and activated CD16+ natural killer (NK) lymphocytes and approximately 5% of CD3+ peripheral blood lymphocytes.
BD BV480 Rat Anti-Mouse CD117
Widespread expression of CD117 in hematopoietic precursors is consistent with participation of c-Kit and its ligand in regulation of several hematopoietic lineages. BD Horizon™ BV480 Rat Anti-Mouse CD117 is also involved in the regulation of some events during the development of T lymphocytes. CD117 is also expressed by mast cells and by dendritic cells found in the periarteriolar lymphocytoc sheaths (T-cell areas) of splenic white pulp.
