Description

Restore an electrode that is starting to perform poorly. Electrode Regenerative Solution, Chem-Lab is an ammonium hydrogen difluoride solution that can help to regenerate the pH-sensitive glass membrane of an electrode.

Over time, electrodes may start displaying excessive response time, even when they have been carefully handled and properly stored. In these cases, it may be possible to reactivate the electrode by immersing it in an ammonium bifluoride regeneration solution. The solution works by etching away a very thin layer of the glass membrane, exposing a fresh surface area.
