Eurofins DiscoverX ATR/ATRIP Protein, Active
Description
Serine/threonine-protein kinase ATR activates checkpoint signaling upon genotoxic stresses such as ionizing radiation (IR), ultraviolet light (UV), or DNA replication stalling, thereby acting as a DNA damage sensor. ATR interacts with the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3 related protein kinase, resulting in its accumulation at intranuclear foci induced by DNA damage.
GenBank NM_001184.3* / GenBank AF451323.1 * Note: the recombinant ATR contains the amino acid substitution M211T with reference toGenBank NM_001184.3. M211T is reported inGenBank XM_001131387.1.
