Designed for use in high-performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC). Macherey-Nagel™ Nano-SIL NH2 ALUGRAM™ Aluminum Sheets include amino-modified silica layers and a fluorescent indicator at short-wave UV (254nm).
Nano-SIL NH2 ALUGRAM™ Aluminum Sheets feature aminopropyl-modified nano silica layers with a fluorescent indicator for use in high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC).
- Acid-resistant product with a pale blue fluorescence for short-wave UV (254nm)
- UV-absorbing substances appear as dark-blue to black spots on a light-blue background
- Order of polarity: silica > DIOL > NH2 > CN > RP-2 > C18-50 > RP-18 W > C18-100
- Layers can be wetted equally well by pure water as by organic solvents
- Recommended application: vitamins, sugars, steroids, purine derivatives, xanthines, phenols, nucleotides and pesticides
- Stable at pH 2–8; Carbon content 3.5%
