Description

Designed specifically for higher resolution PAGE techniques requiring self-cast gels.

  • Twin-plate 20.5 x 20cm maxi-gel unit
  • Large format with 20.5 x 20cm glass plate dimensions are ideal for running higher percentage polyacrylamide gels to resolve smaller proteins of similar MW
  • A cooling coil within the gel tank allows faster separations to be performed at high voltage without compromising resolution
  • Snap-lock connectors allow the cooling coil to be connected to an external chiller unit for faster, higher voltage separations
  • Float glass plates of 4mm thick provides uniform gel thickness and sample migration, and with ground edges inhibits sample leakage during casting
  • Triple screws present on each gel-clamp acts in conjunction with a counterbalanced, dovetailed silicone gasket to disperse pressure evenly along the height and breadth of the gel as the screws are tightened
