Applied Biosystems™ TaqMan™ Array Human Nuclear Receptors Panel

The Applied Biosystems™ TaqMan™ Human Nuclear Receptor Array is an efficient, easy-to-use micro fluidic card for quantitative gene expression analysis of inflammation genes important in drug discovery. This product is designed with 64 TaqMan™ Gene Expression Assays arrayed in 384 wells and is compatible with an upgraded Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System and sold in packs of 4.

The nuclear hormone receptor family is highly conserved in vertebrates. They have a modular domain structure consisting of a DNA-binding domain and a ligand-binding domain. Other domains include a modulatory A⁄B domain, the hinge D domain, and a variable C-terminal F domain that is missing in some nuclear hormone receptors. The TaqMan™ Nuclear Receptor Gene Signature Array contains 48 human nuclear hormone receptors (and 16 controls) and has been classified according to sequence homology into seven subfamilies. The array is pre-formatted and inventoried, cost-effective, convenient and easy to use without needing expensive robotics. Results are reproducible and consistent across samples, studies, and labs —the same data quality from card-to-card and lot-to-lot — even with different operators.
