Description

The PathHunter™ Insulin Lispro Bioassay Kit measures INSRb signal by recruitment of SH2 domain protein to the activated receptor. Bioassay kits contain all assay materials: cells, reagents, and plates.

The PathHunter™ Insulin Lispro Bioassay kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to determine Insulin Lispro potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay assesses insulin or insulin lispro based activation of INSRb RTK receptors via detection of SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses PK-tagged INSRb and an EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, SH2-EA recruitment leads to production of EFC signal. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.
