Description

Robust design and large aperture. KGW-Isotherm Large Insulating Dewar Flasks, Blue with Lid and Grips are designed according to DIN EN ISO 16496, with a glass flask inside a coated metal cover, featuring two side grips and an insulated loose-lied lid.

  • Easy handling with two side grips
  • Insulated lid made of white-coated aluminum with plastic grip
  • Made of fully silvered borosilicate glass according to ISO 3585
  • Protective casing made of blue-coated metal
  • Area of application:
    • Flexible laboratory, medical and biotechnology applications
    • Store/transport liquid nitrogen (N2), dry ice (CO2) and temperature sensitive goods
    • Suitable as an insulating flask
  • Chemical characteristics:
    • Hydrolytic resistance: according to ISO 719 (98°C)
    • Hydrolytic resistance: according to ISO 720 (121°C)
    • Acid resistance: according to ISO 1776
