ApplicationsCortisol, steroid hormone is released in response to stress and a low level of blood glucocorticoids. Its primary functions is to increase blood sugar through gluconeogenesis, suppress the immune system, and aid in fat, protein and carbohydrate metabolism.
Solubility
It is soluble in DMSO and ethanol.
Notes
Protect against light. Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Keep away from strong oxidizing agents.
