Description

Remove harmful substances from air or liquids, in addition to drying air, with this indicating desiccant. Cole-Parmer™ High-Absorption Desiccant/Purifier absorbs 107% of its weight in water.

This indicating desiccant (alumina silicate) quickly absorbs 107% of its own weight in water and dries to a dew point of -100°F. It reduces moisture in air or gas to 17% in a room with a temperature of 70°F and relative humidity of 40%. Desiccant can be repeatedly reactivated in a furnace, dehumidifier or microwave oven. Pore sizes range from 2.6 to 5.0 Å.
