Description

Preserve sample integrity. Thermo Scientific™ Evolution™ Fiber Optic Probes let you bring the spectrophotometer to the sample.

Preserve sample integrity while minimizing sample carryover. Thermo Scientific™ Evolution™ Fiber Optic Probes let you bring the spectrophotometer to the sample. Choose the VERSA probe for measurements in larger containers or solutions that attack stainless steel. Choose the Micro-Probe for measurement of small volumes or in small containers. Both are designed for use in small containers such as PCR and centrifuge tubes commonly used in biological applications.

Working wavelength range of 220-1100nm; provides excellent linearity in the UV and visible regions.

The VERSA probe uses replaceable quartz tips, which:

  • Are made to cuvette tolerances
  • Allow measurements up to 6 ft. away from instrument
  • Available in 5, 10, and 20mm pathlengths
  • Coated mirror protects aluminum surface
  • Allow for a range of solvents
  • Washable and reusable for several months under most circumstances

Requires:

The VERSA Probe requires an instrument specific Fiber Optic Coupler for use with the Evolution 200 and Evolution 300 Spectrophotometers.
