Thermo Scientific™ BactiDisks™ are lyophilized mixtures of charcoal, gelatin and microorganisms in a stable disk format.

The disk is dissolved in 0.1mL of appropriate culture broth, inoculated onto an appropriate culture medium, and incubated at the appropriate temperature, atmosphere and time. BactiDisks are recommended for use in performance testing of media, stains, reagents and identification kits, and for the evaluation of bacteriological procedures. Packaged 10 disks per vial.
