The SCAT exhaust filter V2.0 can be installed on all SCAT waste systems. It cleans solvent vapours from the exhaust air and it is available in different sizes. With a specific surface of 1200 m²/g, the multi-component granulate is the optimum filter media for nearly all solvent vapours. It is based on active charcoal and contains additional components which prevent sticking or clump formation and so prevents restriction of the filter performance. 99% of the volatile substances are captured here. This applies to all common organic solvent vapours like alcohols, aldehydes, amines, hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatics.

Exhaust filter with FKM seal keeps the filter fixed tightly and prevents escape of solvent vapours

Available in a version with a label to fill in the expiry date by hand, or with an indicator on which you have to press the button to activate the countdown for the service life

Outer casing is made of HDPE – this prevents unfiltered outgassing of volatile organic substances, 99% of the harmful evaporating gases are absorbed safely and cleanly

With a specific surface area of 1.200 m²/g, the multicomponent granulate is the optimum filter medium for nearly all solvent vapours

The small exhaust filter (S) has an active filter area of 28,800 m², the medium filter (M) one of 57,600 m² and the large filter (L) an active surface area of 120,000 m²

The SCAT exhaust filter V2.0 with change indicator can be activated by pushing the button. The change indicator shows the elapsed service life clearly and is easy to observe. The active carbon is a steam activated, cylindrical shaped active carbon with excellent hardness and mechanical abrasion resistance. It offers a particular pore structure and can be regenerated with steam or hot gas. The active carbon is used for solvent recovery and separation of organic chemicals in the process of waste air purification. The SCAT exhaust filter V2.0 are best used in combination with SCAT SafetyWasteCaps, V2.0.
