Description
- Developed for handling very cold objects, typically those stored in the vapour phase of liquid nitrogen (in the range -120°C to -190°C)
- Gloves should not actually be immersed in liquid nitrogen
- The outer layer is waterproof material to resist condensed water on cold surfaces
- Permeable to gases (including water vapour) for enhanced user comfort so that there is no clammy condensation inside
- Stitch holes unsealed to reduce bulk around the fingers
- Very durable, and retain flexibility (albeit with some stiffening) for long periods in cold atmospheres
- Polyimide outer material, polyolefin with some polyester as filling and cotton liner
- Manufactured to EN511
